Dr. Jee specializes in adult reconstructive hip and knee surgical procedures. He has particular expertise in muscle sparing, robotic-assisted hip and knee replacement, complex joint replacement and hip and knee replacement revision surgery.
Dr. Jee believes in combining the latest technology and evidence-based care with an approach that puts the patient first. He works hard to develop the physician-patient partnership, and to develop a plan of care that aligns with your goals. He is a firm believer in patient education and effective communication. In addition to dedication to his own patients, he is passionate about being in community and on social media educating people on preventing and treating joint disease, and on the latest approaches to joint replacement surgery.
Dr. Jee earned a B.A. and B.S. in Biochemistry and Chemistry from the University of Chicago. He received a Master's degree in Biotechnology at the University of Pennsylvania. He attended medical school at the University of Wisconsin followed by a residency at Beaumont Health in Michigan, and fellowship training in adult hip and knee reconstruction at the University of Western Ontario, under the guidance of Drs. Steven MacDonald, Emil Schemitsch, Douglas Naudie, and James Howard.
Outside of the office, Dr. Jee loves spending time with family including his wife who also works in medicine, their daughter and two dogs. He also loves working out at the wee hours of the morning and traveling the world when he can.
